Well, I put my application in again this year.....that's all that this is worth again the answer is no. I think we've come to the day when it's easier to qualify with hard work for something like Boston, then it is to be chosen for entry into something like Global. That's alright though. I've got plenty else to keep me busy as most of us do. Maybe another year. Cheers.
Bummer, Mike. Sorry to hear that... There are many fall marathons nicer than that one, though.

Do they actually send you a reply that says you weren't selected before they announce who was selected?
ReplyDeleteMG - You are so right. I'm signing up for M3 (Mystery Mountain Marathon - Trail) here in a about 1 week and it's by far more scenic and my kind of tourture then a road race. Besides, I have something to prove this year.
ReplyDeleteJN - I'm not sure where to check to see who was selected (and I really don't care to take the time to search for it), but I recieved notification on Monday 27th, early afternoon. Probably one of those automated verbatum emails. If that is the case, it does seem kind of "Not Right" huh?
