What's the first thing you grab?

When your blood sugar is low and you need something quick, easy, and consistent - what's your preference?. Personally I reach for...or...


Between, low blood sugars and recovery drinks, I go through about 2-3 containers of milk per week. I like the PB&J's because they are just a little sweet and just a little salty. Perfect. I know where they will place my blood glucose and I know about how long it will last.

Anyone have some interesting quick grabs? I might even try some of them myself.

  1. I grab a GU, 20-25 g and easy to eat.

  2. Gu is pretty handy. Unfortunately, I don't like enough to use it for lows unless I'm exercising.
